Earlier today I visited Display and Costume to pick out crowns for the Homecoming Royalty for the University of Washington. I suddently realized how much I'd like something fancy in my hair. I drool every week over Blair's outfits, but I've forgotten the part of her outfit easiest to replicate: her signature headband. Remember when I blogged about developing a key accessory? A headband is so easy and timeless...not to mention it keeps those long, fashionable sidebangs out of your eyes. Since I'm really big on classic, timeless pieces I decided I was in the market for pearl headbands. As I absently browsed Nordstrom and read my latest issue of Lucky while brainstorming how to update your classic black cloche with silk ribbon I came across this little gem. What a fantastic idea! I have so many strands of glass pearls lying around...this would be the perfect way to make them into something better! I'm a huge fan of this woman now ...I went to her site and fell in love. C'mon...get creative!
